Oculus Sonata III: Recapitulation

In a series of three images, structure and sky weave through layers of reflection on the exterior of Santiago Calatrava's lower Manhattan transit hub, the Oculus. The title references the three-part structure of a classical sonata allegro, in which a musical theme is introduced ("exposition"), unpacked and explored ("development"), and finally brought back together and restated ("recapitulation").
