In a long exposure, what is in motion and what is still? The water's surface, perturbed by the lightest breeze or flitting insect, is always in motion, but a long exposure makes it appear smooth as glass--while grasses that seem still at a momentary glance are revealed to be swaying in the breeze by that same slow shutter. In this image, a fast shutter speed is layered over a slow one, superimposed as a subtle double exposure.
